Industrial Humidifier System

Industrial Humidifier System

Industrial humidifier are used when a specific humidity level must be maintained to prevent static electricity buildup, preserve material properties, and ensure a comfortable and healthy environment for workers or residents.

Static problems are prevalent in industries such as packaging, printing, paper, plastics, textiles, electronics, automotive manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals.

Friction can produce static buildup and sparks when humidity is below 45% relative humidity (RH). Between 45% and 55% RH, static builds up at reduced levels, while humidity above 55% RH ensures that static will never build up.

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) has traditionally recommended a range of 45–55% RH in data centers to prevent sparks that can damage IT equipment.

Humidifiers are also used by manufacturers of semiconductors and in hospital operating room.

Printers and paper manufacturers use humidifiers to prevent shrinkage and paper curl. Humidifiers are needed in cold storage room to preserve the freshness of food against the dryness caused by cold temperatures. Art and museum use humidifiers to protect sensitive works of art, especially in exhibition galleries, where they combat the dryness caused by heating for the comfort of visitors during winter.

Frequently Ask Question
Why do I need a Industrial humidifier System?
Industrial Humidifiers help make the dry air more comfortable by boosting your humidity level. Typically, your humidity level – or the amount of water vapor in the airdrop during the winter and summer months because air cannot hold as much moisture as warm air. Industrial humidifiers are used when a specific humidity level must be maintained to prevent static electricity buildup, preserve material properties, and ensure a comfortable and healthy environment for workers or residents.
How does a humidifier work? Which type should I choose?
No matter the type of technology they use, all humidifiers essentially function in the same manner. These appliances force moisture into your indoor air in the form of an invisible mist. Different types of humidifiers may have different ways of doing this. An evaporative humidifier, for example, uses an internal fan to pull air into the unit and pass it across a water-saturated wick filter to absorb moisture. After air has been saturated with moisture, the fan then propels it out into your space to circulate.

Ultrasonic humidifiers use an ultrasonic vibrating diaphragm instead of a fan to create micro-fine water droplets that are forced into your air. The type of humidifier you choose primarily depends on your preference for the kind of moisture you’d like to add to your space

What is the ideal humidity level I should maintain?
A humidity level is one that measures between 30% and 50%. Humidity that measures above 50% creates a breeding ground for mold, dust mites, bacteria, and other pests.

What size humidifier do I need?
Sizing a humidifier depends mainly on the square footage of the area you want to humidify. Our humidifier provides a square foot coverage range as part of their product’s specifications. Before shopping, measure the approximate area of your room/Hall or the space you want to humidify. Armed with this information, look for a humidifier that is designed to cover an area similar to the size of your space.
